Based on Yumoto's description and generalization of the facts, I propose an alternative conceptual semantic analysis of V-sugiru within the structure preserving binding theory proposed by Jackendoff (1991,1996). I address the following conclusions : (a) the interpretations of V-sugiru are captured by the notion "boundedness". (b) V-sugiru provides the excessive sense to the constituents that can be projected to an axis added by V-sugiru. (c) the readings of excess time and excess distance are introduced by projecting unbounded arguments to the axis; the readings of excess quantity of material entity and excess iteration of the event are introduced by duplicating bounded arguments to the axis.}, pages = {71--92}, title = {複合動詞「V-すぎる」の意味解釈について}, volume = {8}, year = {2002} }
