| 内容記述 | The Culture Assimilator, a programmed culture learning material, has been created and used to train people to interact in a variety of situations in a particular culture. As one of the teaching materials of the Japanese language classrooms, I developed a visual Japanese culture assimilator. The greatest difficulty for the foreigners who study Japanese language is that they do not have fully developed language skills especially in reading and in order to conduct culture assimilator training for those people, this must be reflected as a basic consideration. In this paper, I will explain how I created this culture assimilator to be used in Japanese language classrooms and show how I used it in the classrooms. Also a formative evaluation of this material based on students feedback as well as on the language teachers comments will be presented. Further, some proposals for conducting assimilator training in Japanese as a second language program will also be made on the basis of an analysis of the above students' evaluations. | |||||
