内容記述 | The poetic works of Misuzu Kaneko, who is a poet for children's songs in Taisho era, were published in 1984. Setsuo Yazaki published her poems after 50 years of her death. One of her poems "Watashi to kotori to suzu to" (A bird, a ring and I) is placed in the textbooks. Observing the simultaneous employment of the poem by the four different companies, the author considers the relevance of the current educational ideologies to the interpretations of this poem. The second report on educational reform, submitted by The National Council on Educational Reform in 1986,embraces educational objectives such as the fosterage of global perspectives, the assertion of individuality, the understanding of different cultures, and the development of international communication ability. Educational specialists, influenced by these objectives, seem to have spread the perverted interpretations of this poem. The present paper discusses how the current Japanese educational ideologies are reflected in the interpretations of Misuzu's poem, by considering various explanations given in the textbooks and critical reviews. Further, it suggests that the true value of current education rest on establishing independence in the interpretations of reality rather than the superficial diversification. | |||||
